MERRILLVILLE | Methodist Hospitals honored 134 volunteers recently at its annual Service Awards Luncheon held at at Innsbrook Country Club. All volunteers were recognized, but special recognition went to 42 volunteers with more than 10 years of service, 15 with more than 20 years of service, three with more than 30 years of service, one with more than 40 years of service and one with more than 50 years of service.
Raymond Grady, president and CEO of Methodist Hospitals, was presented with a $30,000 check by the Methodist Hospitals Auxiliary.
Deborah Curless received a scholarship for the LPN to RN Scholarship Program, established by the auxiliary in 2011 to assist licensed practical nurses completing their registered nursing degrees.
